Coach Alesha
Mini Squad Coach
Hi, I’m Alesha!
My love for swimming began at around 8 years old right here at Oak Flats SC and it was reignited when my eldest son joined the club.
Now, I’m proud to be coaching our incredible Mini Squad, where I get to help our youngest swimmers develop strong technique, build endurance, and most importantly – fall in love with the sport from the very beginning. My sessions are all about fun, challenge, and great fundamentals.
When I’m not on the pool deck, you’ll find me chasing my three kids around local sportsfields, parks, or the beach. And when there’s a quiet moment? I’m always up for a good book.
CV:
* AUSTSWIM Accredited Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety.
* Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes.
* Currently on the pathway to SCTA Development Coach.

Coach Keeley
Junior Development Coach
I have worked alongside top coaches at SESA Clinics, including Chris Myers at a Swimming NSW Clinic. I’ve stood on the blocks, on the sidelines, and on the deck. I know what it takes from every angle.
My nickname is KMAC.
My hobbies include all things water, expecially surfing!
Interesting Fact: I can play the bass guitar!

Coach Amy
Foundation Coach
I’ve been passionate about swimming since I was five, and after years of training, racing, and learning across different clubs, I’ve developed a deep love for the sport.
These experiences have shown me a range of coaching styles and systems – giving me fresh perspectives I now bring to the pool deck as a coach at Oak Flats Swimming Club.
Currently in Year 11 and holding my SCTA Accredited Teacher of Competitive Swimming qualification, I’m excited to keep growing my coaching career.
My focus is on helping younger swimmers build strong technique, confidence, and a positive connection with the water – just like I did!

Coach Archie
Foundation Coach (In Training)
Hey! I’m Archie Cocksedge, I’m 16 and excited to be part of the coaching team this season.
I’ve spent most of my life in the pool and have competed at Nationals over the past three years so I know what it takes to train hard, stay focussed, and love the sport along the way.
Outside the pool, you’ll find me shooting hoops, playing video games, and enjoying the ocean (seriously – I love it!)
I’m looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned and helping young swimmers build their skills and confidence in the water.
